The company I would have would be a music store where anyone can buy a large selection of CD’s, DVD’s, games and much more. The store would be open from when the mall it is located open until the closing time of the mall (9am-5pm). The store would be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The first shift would be from 9am (opening) to 5pm (closing) where there would be three employees working that shift. The second shift would be 11am to 5pm and there would be two people working this shift. The shifts would be evenly rotated every week but employees can negotiate among them selves to switch shifts as long as they inform management ahead of time. The manager of the store would always work the 9-5 shift everyday to ensure everything is running smoothly and to ensure an even rotation in shifts for the other employees.

Once everyone is clocked in there would always be at least three people on cash (unless someone is on break then there would be two) and two people on the floor helping customers. If it ever got to a point where it was very busy one of the people on the floor can take cash and help out.

The pay role for the employees would start at fifteen cents above minimum wage for regular employees with a 3-6 month raise then a raise after every year of employment. For the manager the pay role would be on salary averaging out to about $36 000 a year.
